Consultation
Submit your idea through our website the concept, placement, approximate size, and any reference images that capture the direction you're after. Don't worry about having everything figured out. We'll review your submission, then schedule an in-person visit at our studio on Main Street in Winnipeg to talk through the details face to face.

Custom Design
Your artist creates original artwork from the ground up. This isn't a 15-minute sketch; complex custom pieces involve research, reference work, compositional planning, and multiple drawing passes before the final design is ready. You review the artwork and provide feedback. Revisions are part of the process until we're both satisfied the design is right.

Stencil & Approve
We apply the custom stencil and check placement together in the mirror. This is where anatomy-led design pays off. The tattoo should sit naturally on your body and follow the contours of the area. You approve the final position and size before anything begins.

Clean setup, professional execution, and a thorough aftercare walkthrough before you leave. Custom tattoos vary in technique and saturation, so aftercare guidance is tailored to the specific style and placement of your piece. You submit your idea through our website with references and placement details. We schedule an in-person consultation at our Winnipeg studio where your artist discusses the concept in detail. From there, original artwork is created, you review and provide feedback, and the design is refined until it's right. The tattoo is only executed once you've approved the final design and stencil placement.
That's completely normal and honestly one of the better starting points. Some of our best custom work has come from clients who brought a mood, a word, or a handful of disconnected references rather than a fully formed concept. The consultation exists specifically to turn rough ideas into design direction. You don't need to arrive with a finished brief.
Yes. Cover-ups and reworks are a core part of our custom design service. Your artist will evaluate the existing tattoo size, colour saturation, scarring, and placement during the consultation and design around those constraints. Not everything can be fully covered in a single session, and we'll be upfront about what's realistic and what might need multiple stages.
As many as the piece needs. The design phase isn't a transaction with a revision cap, it's a collaboration. We work with you until the artwork is something you're genuinely excited to wear permanently. That said, the clearer your initial brief, the faster we get to a design you love.
